Promotions Strengthen Social Media, Association Marketing Departments

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–April 21, 2021–CMA, a full-service communications, marketing and association management firm based in Mercer County, NJ, announced today that it has promoted two employees for continued excellence and teamwork.

Kelly Potts will lead CMA’s social media efforts as social media manager, and Jennifer Kohlhepp will lead the association marketing campaigns as creative and content manager for association services.

“Kelly and Jenn are great team members who place our clients first,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CEO and founder of CMA, which has provided its clients with award-winning and proven results for more than 30 years. “Based on a spirit of collaboration and accountability, they are growing their careers along with the company.

During the first wave of the pandemic last year, Potts created a Facebook Live event that allowed the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association to quickly share critical COVID-19 developments with its membership while the nation was in quarantine. APSNA’s one-day virtual event deepened engagement with its members by providing a forum for them to connect in a genuine way, sharing regional updates about the pandemic and getting answers in real-time. The event reached 4,000 members nationwide and generated 232 post clicks, 87 reactions and 20 live comments.

Potts also led a social media campaign that allowed LED-manufacturer Amerlux to promote their product features virtually last year, while assuring their audiences that they were open for business. The video series generated about 7,500 YouTube views and 762 new followers across all social channels.

After a team decision to deliver a new virtual event for the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA), Kohlhepp developed a speaker’s program to ensure the group would showcase the most pressing topics. With presentations from industry visionaries, ICMA Connect analyzed COVID-19’s impact on the card industry and projected what it will take to grow, evolve and thrive following the pandemic and to drive innovation for years to come.

Kohlhepp also played an instrumental role in the successful launch of a new website for The IMARK Group, which involved coordination with various client and in-house teams. She also developed promotional messaging that helped publicize the new social media channels via dedicated emails.

Since 1987, CMA has developed 300 websites, created 315 brands and won 378 industry awards. The firm has helped clients in various industries, ranging from financial services, health care, lighting, professional services and associations.
