PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–September 10, 2019–CMA, a full-service communications, marketing and association management firm, announced today that it has been awarded the Middletown Township (Langhorne, PA) contract to upgrade its website.
“Middletown selected CMA for this project because of the firm’s background in both business and government,” said Nick Valla, management analyst for Middletown Township. “The goal is to make the website easier for residents to access information. One of our priorities will be to make the most important information available to users, with no more than two clicks. Through analytics, CMA will examine what parts of the Township are used most often.”
The Township received 11 proposals for the project. The contract includes design, implementation and yearly maintenance of Middletown’s website. In addition to an improved user experience for residents, businesses and visitors, the upgraded website also will streamline business operations through a content management system. The website currently serves approximately 77,000 users annually.
“CMA is pleased to be working with Middletown Township on its website to make it a dynamic public communication tool that will publicize all the Township has to offer, as well as provide users with greater accessibility to its services,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CEO and founder of CMA. “Our recent Weblications acquisition enables CMA to offer Middletown additional in-house expertise, expanded website solutions and cutting-edge technology, which contributed to the firm being awarded the contract.”
Middletown Township is located in lower Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania, just northeast of the City of Philadelphia, and encompasses significant portions of the Langhorne and Levittown areas. Middletown Township is a second-class township governed by five elected Supervisors under a council manager form of government. The Township operates with a $32 million annual budget and serves over 45,000 residents. It is the second-largest municipality in Bucks County and the eighth-largest municipality in suburban Philadelphia. The Township is home to several schools in the Neshaminy School District, the county’s largest mall (Oxford Valley Mall), and Sesame Place Theme Park.
