PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J. – August 14, 2018 – Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), an award-winning, full service marketing agency, announced today four new hires: Tricia Roman, Kelly Potts, Karen Curdie and Bernita Potts to support client growth.
Tricia Roman, of Allentown, is a marketing sales executive responsible for creating new client business opportunities and developing strategic marketing recommendations, in addition to preparing and presenting new client proposals. She also is in charge of identifying and pursuing new market opportunities. With more than 15 years of experience in traditional and digital marketing, advertising, and sales promotion, Roman brings significant marketing knowledge to CMA’s business development efforts. Before joining CMA, Roman held a variety of positions including chief operating officer, vice president of business development, and vice president of sales & operations at multi-channel marketing start-ups, as well as media operator companies. Roman has a B.A. in Communications/Advertising from Glassboro State College.
Kelly Potts, of Hamilton, is a social media specialist responsible for driving CMA’s social media marketing for its clients, by assisting them in increasing online visibility and website traffic. Prior to CMA, Potts was the Assistant Editor for Unique Homes Magazine. In that position, she wrote, edited and designed daily blog posts, as well as tracked analytics and assisted with the development and implementation of social media strategies. She is well versed in all social media channels and platforms. Potts has a certification in Google Analytics and a B.A. in English / Minor in Journalism from Montclair State University.
Karen Curdie, of Monroe Township, is a marketing coordinator responsible for assisting with the management of marketing activities for association clients. Bringing more than 30 years of financial services marketing experience to CMA, Curdie has served in marketing communications and client service roles at Merrill Lynch, UBS Financial Services Inc. and Morgan Stanley. Curdie has a B.A. in English from Gettysburg College.
Bernita Potts, of Mount Laurel, is a human resources administrator responsible for recruitment, orientation and retention of staff. She also is accountable for payroll and benefits administration, facility and performance management, and employee relations. Serving dual roles in human resources and finance, Bernita has more than 25 years of experience in these areas. Most recently, she was the credit administrator at a local HVAC company, founded in 1929. Prior this position, Bernita supported the Vice President of Finance and employees at an international reproductive technology corporation, with U.S. locations in New Jersey and Virginia. Potts has an A.S. in Accounting from Burlington County College and is taking continuing studies courses in Financial Management, Human Resources and Economics at Rowan University.
