Award-Winning Firm Advances Multi-Year Growth Program
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–January 12, 2021–CMA, a full-service communications, marketing and association management firm based in Mercer County, NJ, announced today that it has promoted two executives to lead its major divisions.
Lynn Powell will lead CMA’s Marketing Division as chief marketing officer, and Roland M. Pinto will lead the firm’s Association Management Division as chief association officer. Powell and Pinto also will oversee the day-to-day operations of their respective divisions, which will include P&L management, targeted growth initiatives and business development support. They will continue to report in to CMA’s president, Christian Amato.

As part of CMA’s five-year growth plan, the firm acquired Princeton-based Weblications LLC in 2019 to enhance client services and expand its business footprint. The internet marketing agency in Princeton, which had been in operations for 24 years, added website development, hosting and mobile app development as an extension of CMA’s full-service digital offerings, such as PPC, SEO, retargeting, video marketing, along with email marketing and content marketing to CMA’s full-service offerings.

Diverse Digital Marketing Experience
A seasoned strategic marketing professional, Powell has more than 20 years of experience in client services, account management, operations, business development and financial administration. She has worked with clients across diverse industries encompassing technology, healthcare, tourism, non-profit, insurance, real estate, finance, education, supply chain and hospitality. Powell has an established track record of successfully overseeing and growing marketing initiatives through cross-functional departments within Fortune 100 companies.
As the group account director for Wunderman (Y&R Brands, WPP Agency), Powell was a key client lead and strategic marketing advisor for Dell, while managing an internal team of account and project managers. In addition, she supervised thousands of projects yearly across their B2B, B2C, and Public/Large Enterprise verticals.
Powell earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook.

Financial Expertise With Nonprofits, Associations
Pinto is a strategic professional with expertise in operations management, non-profit management, marketing and project management. Before joining CMA in 2018, Pinto provided financial analytic consulting for non-profit organizational fundraising management, fiscal management and development/operational strategic planning. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pinto was the chief operations officer and acting chief financial officer for a nonprofit organization.
He has earned an MBA from Strayer University, which focused on fiscal management and operations. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rutgers University.
