Erin Klebaur Volunteers Expertise at Advancing Opportunities
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–May 19, 2017– Creative Marketing Alliance, a full-service, award-winning, strategic marketing and integrated communications firm, announced today that its Director of Marketing Erin Klebaur has been appointed to Advancing Opportunities’ board of directors.
“Erin has always given back to the community, whether it’s collecting goods for soldiers overseas or making baskets for HomeFront on Thanksgiving,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, president and CEO of CMA, who was recently recognized with Rider University’s Leadership Legacy Award and MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Outstanding Small Business of the Year award. “She continues to look for ways for CMA to get involved and make a difference and, as we celebrate CMA’s 30th year, we are excited to give back even more to the community that has made us so successful.”
Klebaur, who has worked at CMA for 12 years, was named one of SNJ Business People’s Top Women in Business and 40 Under 40, in addition to being one of NJ AD Club and Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association (JSPRAA) Jersey’s Best young marketing and communications professionals.
“Advancing Opportunities supports all people with disabilities and gives them the tools to live their lives as normal as possible,” Klebaur said. “I saw the passion the entire organization has for their work and how they were able to change people’s lives. I saw an opportunity to provide a skill set—communications—so they could do more for more people.”
“During a recent strategic planning process, the organization determined we needed a leader in the field of marketing to help promote the compelling stories of our consumers’ successes,” said Jack Mudge, CEO of Advancing Opportunities. “Erin joins the agency’s board of directors with the insight, energy and capacity to aggressively promote our name and services and significantly advance our brand.”
CMA has a long history of community service, including support of the Special Olympics of New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run program and the Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey Race for the Cure. Service starts at the top with Barnhart, who previously served on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and a two-term president of the Central Jersey Regional Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. He is a past recipient of the Richard Mack Communication Excellence Award from the National American Red Cross and was recognized with an Outstanding Service Award and Outstanding Achievement in Fundraising Award from the American Diabetes Association.
